Where to go for dinner with your aunt from America

If she's not from Chicago, we can assume that our aunt has arrived longing for some Polish cuisine in its most traditional form ( - if she is from Chicago she's got Polish eateries with pierogies and bigos on practically every street corner). This being the case we take her to Hawełka, downstairs (inexpensive, Polish, and tasty), to Pod Baranem on św. Gertrudy st. (excellent Cracow-style gravy roll, kołduny, Polish-style chicken), Pod Aniołami on Grodzka st. (żurek na żentycy, grilled oscypek), or to Chłopskie Jadło on św. Agnieszki st. (gołąbki, pork roast, cutlets with cabbage). If your aunt's from Chicago maybe you ought to take her out to one of the numerous McDonald's in the area...
